Dear NEFHC Members,

  It was recently brought to our attention that there were some serious omissions and questionable rules in our Year End Awards Program & Rules. Please accept our apologies for not realizing that these problems existed until now, as this truly was an oversight by the entire board of directors.

 We held a meeting on Nov. 23rd to address these problems and to clarify the rules to the best of our abilities. The decisions made at this meeting were made only to correct these problems and to make this awards program better for all the members.

 The Board discussed each and every rule and category for this program and we believe we have clarified and made these rules as fair as possible for all NEFHC members and show exhibitors.

We are sorry for the omission of the Walk / Trot Division and the confusion in regards to the Jr. Exhibitor Division and the Owner, Rider & Handler member issue. These divisions have been corrected and improved.

 In light of this meeting we are allowing all NEFHC member to resubmit their points if they feel it is necessary or leave your submission as you sent it to our points secretary Charmane Delisle.  Which ever option you choose please email Charmane Delisle to let her know.  Also for those who are trainers or handlers that did not realize they had to be a member of NEFHC you will be able to send in your associate membership application with the membership fee of $25 & your points will count for 2009. All points submitted will be tallied again and the results posted for our 2009 Year End Awards winners.  All points now must be submitted by December 15, 2009.
