The Trail Division:  Riders in this division are not competing against other riders; they are accumulating miles over a period of years and must be a NEFHC member at the time each mile is being accrued.  This division is based solely on the honor system and the miles need not be accumulated at a sanctioned event.  Achievement awards will be given to each horse/rider combination that accumulates miles in the following increments:

 50 miles                        100 miles                     250 miles

  500 miles                     750 miles                   1000 miles

Any horse/rider combination that reaches one of these achievement levels during the year will receive their award at the Annual General Meeting or Awards Banquet.  Please note that the miles role over from year to year.  So if you ride 75 miles in year X they will be carried over and added to any miles ridden in year Y.  Also the miles must be garnered by the same horse and rider.  If you sell your horse and get a new one or ride a different mount each time on a trail ride then you must keep track of miles per each horse that you ride.
